Fingerprint Process

You may already have a fingerprint: 

- Funeral homes often take fingerprints of those who have passed away.

- Military offices have fingerprints of service members.

- Hospitals sometimes take baby footprints or handprints.

Make sure fingers are clean and dry

Fill in a large patch on white paper with pencil graphite

Press finger onto the graphite to coat it.

Gently apply clear tape to the finger and peel it off

Stick the tape onto a white sheet and take a photo of the fingerprint.

Repeat steps 3-5 with the same or different fingers to get the best print then simply send us via email: contact@ruggedgifts.com

- Position the camera parallel to the print.

- Ensure the print is in focus.

- Send multiple photos to the jeweler if needed.
